ABOUT THIS WINDOW MOUNTED FEEDER
Why watch the birds through a video when you can watch them up close and personal through your window?
We have found that for some reason, the birds will sit at this style feeder far longer than hanging or post mounted feeders. You get to see their faces better as you watch them straight on. It is even way better than having a caged bird inside as there are no bars obstructing your vision (and the birds like it a lot better too). Each of these gorgeous bird feeders is personalized with the name and text of your favorite bird watcher. Crafted in Livonia, MI, the roof is a printed cedar shake look and your choice of the gorgeous design will adorn the front and back of this long-lasting bird feeder for years to come.
CRAFTED FOR LONG LIFE OUTDOORS
The feeder is crafted using solid white building grade PVC that has an expected 20 year outdoor life (used on buildings as a wood replacement for fascia and trim). The graphics are high performance decals printed with UV stable ink and then laminated for protection from the sun and weather. The combination of PVC and decals will last far longer than any combination of wood and paint as the PVC does not expand and contract with moisture like wood does. The entire bird feeder should last for years and years.
Clear feed hoppers are on each side of the large feed tray so you can see how much food is left from inside.
MOUNTING
We use 3M Dual-Lock (an industrial outdoor "velcro"). We include 2" pieces for the top of the feeder and 1" pieces for the bottom. You will be able to put the feeder on the window and remove it at some point in the future just like a velcro attachment. This is much safer than suction cups (for the feeder and for the birds). You can see the dual lock in the video included with the listing. Installation is easy with the included Dual Lock - just clean the window, align and stick it to the window - easy peasy!
